Good to know before applying
- Of your 12 years of schooling, the time spent at Japanese elementary, junior high, and high schools must total 2 years or less, and the high school you graduated from must be outside Japan. People who have been enrolled in a university or junior college in Japan cannot apply.
- Graduation and academic record certificates must be originals written in the official language of your school's country or in English (certificates made in Japanese are not accepted) and issued in April 2026 or later.
- For Method C, TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid only if sent directly from the testing organization to the university by the application deadline. If they do not arrive, it is the applicant's responsibility.
- You cannot submit multiple applications within Method A or within Method B. After your application is confirmed, you cannot change the exam system, faculty, or department. A false statement can lead to cancellation of admission even after you pass.
