Good to know before applying

  1. People living outside Japan cannot apply in Round 2. If you apply from outside Japan, it is Round 1 only; you must contact the Admissions Center beforehand and have an advisor (a person living in Japan).
  2. Exams are held at each campus (Faculty of Letters = Koshigaya, Faculty of Information and Communications = Shonan, International Studies and Business Administration = Tokyo Adachi). There are no online exams.
  3. The Japanese test results must fall within a specified period (Round 1: EJU from November 2024 to June 2026; Round 2: June 2025 to November 2026). The JLPT must be within 2 years before application.
  4. The university does not apply for the Certificate of Eligibility on your behalf. Because it takes at least 2 to 3 months to be issued, complete the second procedure early.
  5. The first procedure (admission fee, information registration and documents) must be postmarked by December 11; the second (the rest of the tuition and fees) is due March 11, 2027.
