Good to know before applying
- If you have not obtained the "Student" residence status as of April 1, 2027, your admission is canceled.
- If you pass a recommendation (exclusive application), you must enroll. Fees are not refunded at all once the enrollment procedure is completed under a sole application.
- Documents must arrive by 16:00 on the submission deadline, and the application fee must be paid by 12:00 on the same day. Registering and paying alone does not complete your application.
- For Designated-School Recommendation, the attendance rate (class hours or number of lessons) at your Japanese-language institution must be 85% or higher.
- The application fee and submitted documents are not returned for any reason. You cannot change the selection category after web registration.

Scholarships
- Top-performing students admitted by Designated-School Recommendation (Rounds 1 and 2) are treated as scholarship students and get part of the admission fee (¥100,000) waived.
- Among those admitted in General Round 1, top-performing students get 50% or 30% off tuition for the year of entry.
- Scholarship for privately funded international students — 50%, 35% or 25% (A, B, C) off tuition for students with good grades who have financial difficulty continuing their studies
Student life support
The "SEIBU GLOBAL LIVING HOUSE" student dormitory opened in March 2024 (about a 3-minute walk from Shin-Sayama Station, with a resident manager). Japanese and international students enrolled in Seibu Gakuen can live there.
