- Sayoko Koto founded the 'Koto Dressmaking Institute' in Urawa City (the beginning of Koto Gakuen).

- To mark the 50th anniversary of its founding, CAD Drafting College was established in Koshigaya.

Good to know before applying
- An attendance rate of 80% or more at your current school is required to apply. If your attendance rate falls below 90% in principle before enrollment, or you cannot graduate or complete your current school, your admission is canceled.
- If you do not complete the enrollment procedures within 2 weeks after the results are announced, your admission is canceled.
- Payments are not refunded in principle. If you decline by Mar 31, the amount except the admission fee is refunded. The screening fee is not refunded.
- To apply, you must have no criminal record, including overstaying and working beyond permitted hours.
- If application documents have blanks or are missing, the exam date cannot be set. Prepare them together with a teacher at your current school.

Scholarships
- First-term reduction: apply with documents arriving by Sep 7, 2026 for a ¥50,000 tuition reduction (not eligible if you miss an installment deadline even once).
- Lump-sum reduction: if you take an exam up to Dec 19 and pay the full amount by the first deadline, tuition is reduced by ¥50,000.
- Long-distance applicant support reduction: if you live outside Tokyo and the 6 prefectures around it and come to take the exam, tuition is reduced by ¥20,000.
- JLPT reduction: passing N2 by Dec 6, 2026 reduces tuition by ¥30,000 each year, and passing N1 by ¥50,000 (cannot be combined; proof due by Mar 19, 2027).
