Good to know before applying

  1. In principle you must hold a residence status in Japan. Being able to change your residence status to "Student" at enrollment is a condition of application.
  2. International students apply only with handwritten documents (no online application). Send by simple registered mail to your first-choice campus; documents must arrive by the deadline.
  3. Application documents that are incomplete or missing (wrong format, blanks, a pen other than black, erasable ballpoint pens) are not accepted. After acceptance, you cannot change the admission category or desired department.
  4. The graduation certificate and transcript from your high school in your home country need a copy of the original certified by a public authority and a Japanese translation with an official seal. The deadline is not extended for delayed documents.
  5. Documents and examination fees that have been accepted are not refunded. If you decline admission on or after March 31, tuition and fees, including the admission fee, are not refunded.
