Good to know before applying

  1. Your total time at elementary, junior high and high schools in Japan must be 4 years or less. Those who graduated (or will graduate) only from a Japanese high school are not eligible. Foreign schools in Japan do not count as a "foreign high school"
  2. Application documents are by mail only and must arrive within the period (no in-person submission). Originals are required in principle; copies and notarized copies are not accepted. Translations by translation companies are not accepted
  3. You cannot apply unless you have taken the specified EJU subjects (you will be excluded from the admission decision). English scores are also required (TOEFL ITP, IP tests and at-home versions are not accepted)
  4. The exam venue chosen at application cannot be changed. If you are more than 30 minutes late for the assembly time, you cannot take the exam. If you are absent from the faculty's own exam, you are excluded from the pass/fail decision
  5. The registration fee and admission fee are not refunded under any circumstances. If the Certificate of Eligibility is not issued, admission may be canceled
