1-year Beauty Career Course

A 1-year course where you study basic beauty and Japanese and aim to move on to the 2-year course. Selection is by documents and an interview.

You apply with a recommendation from the Japanese-language school you attend. The condition is that this college is your first choice, and there is an interview and a Japanese proficiency test (N2 level).

Good to know before applying
- Requires an average of 75 points or higher (Rank C) in each subject at your Japanese-language school and an attendance rate of 80% or higher (does not apply to those applying directly from overseas).
- A Japanese-language school recommendation requires this college to be your first choice. A principal's recommendation requires Rank B and 90% attendance or higher; other recommendations require Rank C and 80% or higher.
- If you apply directly from overseas, you must meet the conditions on 12 years of schooling, Japanese ability standard, expenses and health (the conditions on grades and attendance at a Japanese-language school do not apply).
- The graduation (expected), grades and attendance certificates from your Japanese-language school and your residence certificate must be originals issued within the past 3 months (copies not accepted).
- Be sure to bring your passport and residence card to the interview.
