Good to know before applying
- For people living in Japan with a valid residence status (those with a short-term visitor visa should use the overseas recruitment; for applications from overseas, ask by email).
- Graduation and transcript certificates must be originals bearing the school seal. Copies or printed electronic data are not treated as originals. Always attach a Japanese or English translation.
- Japanese qualification scores are valid only if taken within the past 2 years.
- Changes to or return of submitted documents (except some originals) and refunds of the application fee are not permitted.
- To withdraw, notify the university by phone by 3:00 p.m. on March 18, 2027. Everything except the application deposit is refunded.

Scholarships
- Tuition reduction for privately funded international students (30% of tuition): submit an application form when you apply and it is screened. Only for the "Student" residence status. Not available to those who receive more than ¥90,000 a month in remittances from the person paying their expenses. Reviewed every year from the following year.
Student life support
The international student dormitory application form lists the on-campus "Togane Global Village" and off-campus apartments (a form for exchange students; the conditions for regular students to enter a dormitory are not stated in the guidelines).
