Good to know before applying

  1. School recommendation selection (designated school and teacher recommendation) and the Tokyo Shibuya special selection are exclusive applications. After you pass, you cannot withdraw for any reason, and the tuition and fees are not refundable.
  2. Application documents must arrive by the deadline (designated record mail). If even one document is missing or deficient, you cannot take the exam. Corrections after payment are made only in red ink; rewriting a PDF directly is treated as document forgery and you cannot take the exam.
  3. The web application system is separate for each campus you wish to enter. Even if you make a mistake in the campus, exam category or department, the application fee is not refunded and no changes are allowed after acceptance.
  4. Applications from outside Japan are accepted only up to Round 3 of Comprehensive Selection (and for Tokyo Shibuya, Special Selection too). The exam is taken only by coming to the campus; there is no online exam.
  5. Kobe Sannomiya Campus: you are not eligible to apply if you have not continuously engaged in the activities of your residence status for 3 months or more.
