About the school

Selection is by document screening based on English results, a written test, and a Japanese interview and oral examination. In Year 1 you live in the dormitory.

Good to know before applying
- You must be able to obtain or renew the "Student" residence status by Mar 31, 2027 (Faculty of International Liberal Arts). In other faculties, if you do not hold "Student", you must be able to change to "Student" as a student of the university.
- All exams are held at venues in Japan (online interviews for the Faculty of International Liberal Arts are for some applicants only). Application documents are sent by mail (from overseas, by a method that keeps a record, such as EMS).
- Those who pass the Japanese-language exam cannot choose the English Track (only those who pass the English-language exam can).
- In the Faculty of Sport and Health Science, all Year 1 students live together in Keishin Dormitory (you may not be able to move in due to reasons such as dormitory capacity).
- Fees already paid are not refunded, in principle. If you withdraw by 16:00 on Mar 31, 2027, they are refunded except for the admission fee. The examination fee is not refunded.

Scholarships
- Faculty of International Liberal Arts: Admission Honor Scholarship [A] fully waives first-year tuition of ¥1,000,000, and [B] reduces it to ¥500,000 (a few students each, including through the International Student Admission). For high achievers after enrollment, next-year tuition is reduced from ¥1,000,000 to ¥500,000.
Student life support
In the Faculties of Sport and Health Science and Medicine, all Year 1 students live in Keishin Dormitory (dormitory fee separate). Official materials do not mention dormitory arrangements for other faculties.
