Good to know before applying
- People who graduated (or expect to graduate) from a high school or secondary education school in Japan cannot apply to international student admission. Time spent in Japanese school education must total 3 years or less.
- If you live outside Japan at the time of application, you can apply to the early round only. The application fee can only be paid by transfer from within Japan, and a copy of every page of your passport is required. Contact the Admissions Office beforehand.
- If you are not enrolled at an educational institution in Japan (such as a Japanese-language school or vocational school) at the time of application, you must contact the Admissions Office before applying (except Permanent Residents, Long-Term Residents, and Dependents).
- Applications with incomplete documents are not accepted. The application period is not extended because documents are late. You cannot change your major after applying.
- On exam day, assemble at 9:00. If you arrive after 9:00, you cannot take the exam.
