Good to know before applying

1. To apply, you need both online application registration with payment of the application fee and mailing of the application documents (registered express mail, must arrive Dec 15-17). Hand delivery is not accepted.
2. 'Completed 12 years of education in a foreign country' means completing the 12th year of a regular curriculum at a school located geographically in a foreign country.
3. Only the score from one of the four EJU sittings in the 2025 and 2026 academic years is used (scores cannot be combined). You cannot apply unless you have 200 points in Japanese and 200 points in science (or Japan and the World) + mathematics.
4. The university sends notices and admission letters only within Japan. When you apply, register a reliable address and phone number in Japan.
5. The admission fee once paid is not refunded. After completing admission procedures, you cannot complete admission procedures at another national or public university. If you do not complete the procedures by the deadline, you are treated as having declined admission.

Student life support

Recruitment of new residents for the student dormitories (3 dorms) excludes international students. For housing for international students, ask the International Student Support Section of the International Affairs Office.
