Selection is by a written Japanese exam and an interview. Holders of N1 or N2 are exempt from the written exam. There are three rounds, from late October to December.

- Applications from outside Japan are not accepted.
- Application documents and the admission screening fee are never refunded once received. Tuition and fees paid are not refunded on or after April 1, 2027.
- If the enrollment procedure is not completed by the deadline, you are treated as having declined admission and your acceptance is cancelled.
- If you keep being absent without a valid reason, you will be expelled, the Immigration Services Agency will be notified, and your student status of residence may be revoked.
