DutiesYou'll handle maintenance — inspecting, repairing and taking preventive measures so that machines and equipment in factories, buildings and other facilities always run safely and in good condition. Specifically, you'll detect problems early through regular inspections, repair broken machines, carry out preventive maintenance to stop breakdowns before they happen, and plan and carry out improvements to raise productivity and safety. Keeping records to track and manage equipment condition is also an important part of the job. You'll help extend machine life and support stable production and operations.
