Living in Kanamachi

A residential area at the eastern edge of Tokyo's 23 wards, in front of the Edogawa River. Trains run to Otemachi without transferring, and large supermarkets and a new shopping mall to the south and north of the station let you finish grocery shopping right in front of the station. In return, fast Rapid trains do not stop here, and because it is low-lying land between large rivers, you must check the flood map.

Kita-Senju is about 9 minutes away, and there are large supermarkets and a shopping mall to the south and north of the station. JR Joban Line Rapid trains do not stop, so you have to transfer once toward Ueno and Tokyo Station. It is low-lying land between large rivers, so be sure to check the flood map when choosing a home.
