Living in Matsudo

Just one river away from Tokyo's Adachi Ward and Kita-Senju, this is the gateway of Matsudo City, with that geographic advantage. There are line options, and commercial facilities and large supermarkets cluster in front of the station, making life very convenient. In return, you must tolerate the bustle typical of an old working-class commercial district and the entertainment district atmosphere at the west exit, a neighborhood that trades accessibility for value.

It is a hub in northwestern Chiba where three lines meet, including the JR Joban Line (Rapid and local) and the Keisei Matsudo Line. Access toward Ueno and Tokyo Station is good, and shopping streets and daily-life infrastructure are solid. It has a working-class atmosphere and parts of the area around the station are somewhat hectic. With reasonable rents and steady demand from office workers and international students, it is a practical residential area.
