Living in Minami-Nagareyama

A transfer station where the Tsukuba Express and the Musashino Line meet, in the 20-minute range to the city center while rents are clearly lower than in cities adjacent to Tokyo. However, the platforms of the two lines are split between underground and above ground, so transferring takes time, and once you leave the station area it turns into a typical suburb.

It is a transfer station in Nagareyama where two lines meet: the JR Musashino Line and the Tsukuba Express. The TX reaches Akihabara quickly, and the Musashino Line also connects to various parts of Saitama and Chiba. It is far from the city center, but the speed of the TX makes up for it. With reasonable rents and good access, it is a neighborhood popular with young families.
