DutiesIn the construction project for a land-based salmon farming facility, you will be in charge of construction supervision for electrical, instrumentation and control equipment. Specifically, you will manage the construction of cable racks, conduits, cable laying, control panels, switchboards, MCCs, transformers, UPS, lighting equipment, grounding equipment, instrumentation equipment and control equipment. As site supervision work, you will carry out contractor management, schedule management, work instructions, construction quality checks, safety management, permit to work (PTW) management and LOTO management. You will also do testing and pre-commissioning work such as continuity tests, insulation resistance tests, Loop Checks, Point to Point Checks, grounding tests, pre-energization checks and test-run support, and confirm integration with PLC, SCADA, VFDs (inverters), instrumentation and control systems. It also includes reporting work such as preparing daily reports (in English), weekly reports, Punch List management, NCR management, test result management and Bluerithm updates.

Requirements

Required10 years or more of experience in electrical equipment construction, experience as an electrical construction supervisor, electrical testing experience, contractor management experience. Ability to read single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, cable schedules and control circuit diagrams. Business-level English, business-level Japanese.
PreferredExperience in EPC, plant construction, water treatment facilities, food factories, utility equipment, Oil & Gas, and automation equipment. Experience with PLC, SCADA, VFD, instrumentation, and commissioning. Experience using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and BIM.
