DutiesIn a university's accounting department, you'll handle the following accounting work in English and accounting admin. ・Process payments from students and manage data ・Support preparing and filing tax returns ・Handle intercompany transactions for receivables or process refunds ・Check financial documents and applications for accuracy and compliance with rules (request corrections and handle inquiries if there are issues) ・Make payments to vendors and handle bank transfers ・Process employee expense claims ・Handle cash payments and receipts, bank transfers and deposits ・Record daily journal entries for transactions related to monthly closing ・Update the system and create and manage items ・Handle and coordinate payment inquiries in English and Japanese ・Organize and file documents and handle other accounting department tasks
