DutiesThe main duties are as follows. 1. Liaison and coordination with relevant government agencies, the Chinese headquarters, the occupational physician, outside consultants and the building owner. 2. Industrial waste management (contracts, issuing manifests, notifications). 3. Planning, attending, summarizing findings and following up on rounds by the safety manager, health manager and occupational physician, and audits by outside consultants. 4. Conducting EHS training for each lab manager. 5. Managing advance assessments for new or changed equipment and chemical substances. 6. Managing statutory inspections, managing protective equipment, managing progress on EHS targets, handling various surveys, and responding to accidents and near misses. 7.
