SALLAE is where Koreans living in — or preparing to move to — Japan compare which neighborhood and which building suits them, in Korean.
Send us the listings you already have on your website or blog. We register them for you, publish them free on the SALLAE map and neighborhood pages, and inquiries go straight to your LINE, KakaoTalk or email.
A building name and address is enough to start, and listing costs nothing.
Why SALLAE
Japan has plenty of property sites, but almost none let someone choose a home in Korean, on Korean terms. That gap is where SALLAE sits.
We first explain what each area is like from a Korean renter’s point of view, then connect them to the buildings and operators in that area.
Register the buildings and rooms already on your website or blog, and they appear exactly where Korean renters are researching their move.
Placement is not for sale. No payment changes the order things appear in. Our users’ trust is the only thing we have.
How renters arrive
Many Korean users start looking before they arrive in Japan, and reach us without having settled on a neighborhood. That is the step SALLAE handles.
We ask about purpose, budget and where they study or work, then suggest neighborhoods that fit. This is where they narrow down their shortlist.
762 neighborhoods, each with its character, rent range, train lines and transfers, daily amenities and move-in costs — written in Korean.
Once the neighborhood is settled, they look at buildings there. That is where your listings sit.
SALLAE is built so that by the time someone contacts you, the area, budget and move-in timing are already roughly settled — fewer inquiries that start from scratch.
How it works
Send the material once and we handle the registration. If you’d like one, we’ll also build you a dedicated brand page (mini-site) free of charge.
A building name and address is enough to start. Add rent, size and orientation and we’ll reflect those too — a “from ¥◯” price pin appears on the map.
Koreans starting a new life in Japan research neighborhoods and buildings on SALLAE, in Korean.
Your buildings and rooms sit right alongside the neighborhood pages and reviews renters are browsing.
Inquiries arrive over KakaoTalk, LINE or email, in a form that identifies which listing they are about.

Why Korean renters
Working holiday, language school, university — the search usually begins from Korea. Users who aren’t comfortable searching in Japanese tend to narrow down areas and housing types within Korean-language sources first, and Japanese ads and portals rarely reach that stage.
Usually required for a standard lease, while share houses and student residences are often flexible or waive it entirely.
A standard lease can mean deposit, key money and furnishing costs up front; a share house or student residence can keep the initial outlay lower, depending on the place.
Standard leases are typically two years; some share houses and student residences can be chosen to fit a study or enrolment period.
For this group, housing with low move-in costs and flexible terms — share houses, student residences — is one of the few realistic options.
Why listing is free
Our job is to tell Korean speakers which neighborhood suits them. If ranking or match results could be bought, that judgement bends and the service stops working. So we charge no listing or set-up fee, and no payment changes ranking or match results. Terms for referrals and partnerships vary by company, so we discuss those individually.
The neighborhoods it suggests come from the user’s conditions alone. Operators who share information are not favored, and those who don’t are not penalised.
We sometimes prepare a listing page from public sources first. We amend or unpublish it at any time at the operator’s request. Share your areas, price range and conditions and what reaches Korean users gets more accurate.
Above all, no form of payment changes match results or ordering. That is the line we hold.
SALLAE holds no real-estate brokerage license and does not broker deals. We handle the stage before a room is chosen.
