South of the station are Koshien Stadium and LaLaport, while to the north lies the quiet upscale residential district of Nishinomiya Nanaen, developed since 1929, so the atmosphere differs sharply between north and south within the same neighborhood. By direct limited express, both Osaka and Kobe are within 20 minutes, and Nishinomiya itself has a lower crime rate than the Hyogo Prefecture average, so it is rated as a place for families to live long term. It gets very crowded on game days.

This is a residential area in Nishinomiya famous for Koshien Stadium, on the Hanshin Main Line. It is full of energy during baseball season and a calm residential area otherwise, and a large shopping mall nearby makes daily life convenient. It is worth keeping in mind that the area gets crowded on game days. The Hanshin Line gives decent access to Osaka and Kobe and living infrastructure is in place, so it is a solid choice for family living.
