Living in Motoyama

Close to the Okamoto shopping street, with many stylish cafes and bakeries and the added character of a university district, it is a decent residential area where students and families live together. However, the JR station is served only by local trains, and for faster trains you need to board at Hankyu Okamoto Station, a 5 to 10 minute walk away, while Hanshin has no station in this neighborhood. Three lines run side by side here, but in practice it is a quiet living area centered on JR local trains.

This is a calm residential area in Higashinada Ward, close to JR Settsu-Motoyama and to Hankyu and Hanshin. Adjacent to Okamoto, it shares its stylish atmosphere, and with universities nearby there are many students and well-developed living infrastructure. It is worth noting that areas on hills are somewhat inconvenient to get around. JR gives good access to Sannomiya and Osaka, so it is a solid choice for both students and families.
