A coastal and mountain city in the northern part of the prefecture, known for its gorge autumn leaves. Nature is its strength, it is quiet, and a life with a private car is assumed.

Takahagi is a coastal and mountain city in the northern part of the prefecture, known for the autumn leaves of the Hananuki Gorge. Takahagi Station is in the city center and connects via the Joban Line toward Mito (43 km). Ueno is 138 km, so it is a different living area from Tokyo. The sea and the gorge are both close and rents are low, but for big shopping you have to go out to Mito or Hitachi.
