The second city of Toyama Prefecture, where three local lines and the Manyosen streetcar meet. As an old city renowned for casting, its shopping streets and temples remain just as they are downtown. Toyama Station is twenty minutes away by local line, so it is within commuting range. However, to take the Shinkansen you have to move to Shin-Takaoka Station to the south.
