Living in Hitachinaka

A commercial and industrial city in the middle of the prefecture, known for its national seaside park. Railway stations are nearby, but daily life is mostly car-centered, and since it is attached to the Mito living area, it shares the city's functions.

Hitachinaka is a commercial and industrial city around the national Hitachi Seaside Park and Katsuta. With stations in the city center, including Katsuta Station on the JR Joban Line, Mito (5 km) is a short train ride away, and the Hitachinaka Seaside Railway also reaches the sea side. However, once you leave the station area, the layout favors cars. There are many factories and research institutes, so there are jobs, and you can enjoy the Mito living area with rents a notch lower.
