Living in Joshin

A semi-central residential area a 1-minute walk from the Benten-dori shopping street, which dates back to the Taisho era, and within walking distance of Nagoya Castle. It also adjoins Noritake Shinmachi, home to the Noritake Garden. In exchange for needing one transfer to reach the city center, its strength is that it is clearly cheaper than Sakae or Nagoya Station without access dropping much.

This is a calm residential area in Nishi Ward, on the subway Tsurumai Line. Nagoya Castle and the Noritake Garden are close, the conveniences of an arterial road are in place, and Nagoya Station and Sakae are near, giving decent access to the city center and reasonable rents. However, it is an ordinary neighborhood with few large commercial facilities. It suits office workers and single people who want quiet, good-value housing near the city center.
