Nagoya's biggest entertainment district, where department stores, underground malls and nightlife are packed into a single block. Nagoya Station is 4 to 5 minutes away by subway, so you can use both axes of the city center, and its shopping and dining infrastructure is the thickest in Nagoya. In exchange, being at the center of the entertainment district brings noise and public-safety issues, so if you want a quiet place to live, you need to move at least a block away.

This is Nagoya's largest entertainment district, where the subway Higashiyama Line and Meijo Line cross. Department stores, Oasis 21 and a wide underground mall are gathered here, concentrating shopping, dining and nightlife in one place with energy until late at night, so urban living infrastructure is overwhelming and transfers to anywhere are easy. However, it is always crowded, rents are high, and the streets at night are hectic in some areas. It especially suits single people and office workers with lots of nighttime activity.
