Living in Shiki

A commuter hub in southern Saitama where Tobu Tojo Line express trains stop and through service on the Fukutoshin Line runs to Shibuya with no transfer. A large shopping facility in front of the station and an old shopping street near the city hall make daily life easy. It is clearly cheaper than neighborhoods in central Tokyo, but its identity is closer to a Saitama bedroom town than to Tokyo.

Shiki is a residential area in southern Saitama on the Tobu Tojo Line. As an express stop, it has good access toward Ikebukuro, and its shopping streets are lively. Keep in mind that the Tojo Line is the only line. With reasonable rents and solid daily infrastructure, it is a neighborhood popular for family living.
