Living in Kinshicho

The representative lively district of eastern Sumida Ward, where several lines meet, including the Sobu Line Rapid (about 7 to 9 minutes to Tokyo Station, direct) and the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line (through service toward Otemachi and Shibuya), giving excellent access to the city center. Large shopping malls and shopping streets make daily life convenient and the Skytree is within walking distance, but the area around the south exit still carries an entertainment district flavor at night, so it is a two-sided neighborhood where you should choose the north exit side if you want a quiet residential area.

It is served by three lines including JR and Tokyo Metro, with direct Sobu Rapid service to Tokyo and Otemachi. As a lively district in eastern Sumida Ward, commercial facilities are solid and the Skytree is close. However, an entertainment district and bars have formed south of the station, giving it a somewhat hectic and rough atmosphere at night. In return, rents are reasonable for the access to the city center, which makes it popular with practical-minded residents.
