Living in Oshiage

A sightseeing and transport junction in Sumida Ward, home to Tokyo Skytree. Four lines come together, so you can get quickly to anywhere in the city center, and access to both Narita and Haneda airports is good. However, tourist traffic is heavy all year round and rents near the station are clearly higher than at neighboring stations.

Oshiage is a hub in Sumida Ward where four lines meet, including Keisei, Tobu, the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line and Toei. Tokyo Skytree is right in front of the station, so tourist and commercial facilities are plentiful. It is a tourist spot and gets crowded on weekends, but through service on the Hanzomon Line gives good access toward Shibuya. It is a neighborhood redeveloped to be convenient for both airport and city center access.
