Living in Sekiya

Quiet riverside living. It is about 7 minutes to Niigata Station, and you use the JR Echigo Line.

A residential area in western Chuo Ward facing the mouth of the Shinano River. Both trains and buses run, so getting out to the city is easy, and a riverside promenade is right next door. A university hospital is close, so many medical workers and students live here. It is away from the entertainment district, so it tends to be quiet in the evening.
