An old shopping-street neighborhood in Nishi Ward, one stop from the university. Supermarkets, hospitals and cram schools are in place, so students and families live mixed together. Units tend to be larger and quieter than right in front of the university. It takes about twenty-five minutes by train to Niigata Station.
