Living in Senri-Chuo

The central station of Senri New Town, Japan's first large-scale new town. Roads, parks and commercial facilities are laid out in a planned way, and about 21% of the area is parks and greenery, making the living environment pleasant, and the direct Midosuji Line reaches Umeda and Namba without transfers. However, it is popular in the northern Settsu area and is not cheap, and redevelopment in front of the station continues through 2032, so for several years you have to put up with construction noise and changes to routes.

This is the center of Senri New Town, served by the Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway and the Osaka Monorail. True to being Japan's first large-scale new town, roads, parks and commercial facilities are planned and well maintained, and with Expo Commemoration Park close by and plenty of greenery, it is popular with families. Because it was developed long ago, it is worth keeping in mind that some housing complexes are aging in population. With the direct Midosuji Line giving good access to Umeda, it suits families who want a pleasant environment.
