Living in Toyonaka

A flagship commuter town in northern Osaka, where shopping malls connected to the station and the Okamachi and Sakurazuka shopping streets fill out daily convenience densely. The whole city is regarded as an educational city with an even distribution of schools and little variation between school districts, so demand from education-minded families is steady. It is cheaper than downtown Osaka, but prices reflect a school-district premium.

This is a northern residential city famous for its good school districts, served by the Hankyu Takarazuka Line and the Osaka Monorail. Close to Osaka Airport yet with calm residential areas spreading widely, it is preferred by education-minded families, and with well-developed commercial facilities and parks, daily life is stable. Rents are on the high side in popular school-district areas. Hankyu gives good access to Umeda and the child-rearing environment is good, so it especially suits families settling in.
