Living in Yamato

The central station of Yamato City, where the Odakyu Enoshima Line and the Sotetsu Main Line cross. Both Shinjuku and Yokohama are within reach. The area around the station is well developed.

Yamato is a hub in Yamato City where three lines meet, including the Odakyu Enoshima Line and the Sagami Railway Main Line. Transferring between the two private railways gives access in both directions, to Shinjuku and to Yokohama. It is an outlying location some distance from central Tokyo. Through service on the Sagami Railway has improved access, and with reasonable rents there is demand from families and office workers.
