Commute & transport

A working-class living area where Yoshizuka Market's Little Asia Market, a 5-minute walk from the station, gathers Myanmar, Thai, Vietnamese and Nepalese restaurants, so many foreign residents, such as international students and technical interns, actually live here. Hakata is one stop away. The prefectural office and the Kyushu University Hospital are close, so infrastructure is in place, but you should keep in mind that Hakata Ward's public safety ranks in the lower middle of the city.

This is a working-class living area one stop from Hakata, served by the JR Kagoshima Main Line and the subway Hakozaki Line. Access to the city center is good and rents are low, which suits practical-minded people, and the prefectural office nearby makes daily life convenient. It is an ordinary working-class neighborhood, so there are few notable landmarks. It suits people living alone and office workers who want low living costs along with access to Hakata.
