Kawachi is an agricultural town on the lowlands along the Tone River in the south of the prefecture. There is no station in the town and Ajiki Station is 6 km away, so you have to drive to the station, but Tsuchiura is 22 km and Ueno is 46 km, so commuting toward Tokyo is not entirely impossible. It is a quiet countryside area with rice fields and the river close by, worth a look for people who want to lower rent substantially.
