安八町 · Gifu
A village on a fertile plain between two rivers, with agriculture as its pillar. There is no railway station, so a car is needed, and it adjoins the Ogaki living area.
A village in the Seino area of Gifu Prefecture, set on a fertile plain between the Ibi and Nagara rivers. Its name comes from the old place name 'Ahachima', written in the oldest census register in Japan in 702, and the pickled vegetable 'Ahachima-zuke' named after it and processed plum products from the Hakubai-en plum garden continue as local specialties. However, there is no railway station in the village, so you have to travel by bus to Ogaki Station or Hozumi Station and change to JR, and life can be inconvenient without a car. It is in the Nagoya commuter zone, but it is a neighborhood that suits single-person households and office workers who will live mainly by car rather than public transportation.
