Living in Nerima

The second most populous of Tokyo's 23 wards, a wide residential ward. It takes about 10 minutes to Ikebukuro on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, and through-running with the Oedo and Fukutoshin lines reaches many directions in the city center. With well-developed low-rise residential areas and shopping streets and market rents cheaper than the Tokyo average, many newlyweds and households with children live here. In return, Tokyo Station and Shibuya are about 30 minutes away, and the farther you go from a station, the more you depend on buses.
