Commute & transport

The largest hub in the Tama area, where Keio Line limited express trains stop. Several large shopping malls, Okunitama Shrine and the Tokyo Racecourse cluster around the station, and because it is clearly cheaper than the city center and public safety is among the best in Tokyo, it is very popular with families. In return, access to the city center is a notch weaker, and on race days and festival days crowds and noise arrive.

Fuchu is a hub in Fuchu City on the Keio Line. It is known for Okunitama Shrine and the racecourse, and commercial facilities around the station are plentiful. Keep in mind that the lines are mostly Keio. The Keio Line limited express gives fast access to Shinjuku, and with reasonable rents it is the center of the Tama area, with high family demand.
