Commute & transport

A transport hub in Ichikawa City, at the eastern terminus (starting station) of the Toei Shinjuku Line, so with a bit of luck you can commute seated. The JR Sobu Line also uses the same station, and the Keisei Yawata Station is a 5-minute walk away, so you have a wide choice of lines. As the city's core hub where the municipal offices gather, its commercial area is stable, but it is a bedroom town where you can hardly expect a flashy nightlife district or trendy cultural spaces.

Moto-Yawata is a hub in Ichikawa City where two lines pass, including the JR Sobu Line and the Toei Shinjuku Line. As the starting station of the Shinjuku Line, you can ride seated to the city center, and redevelopment has brought plentiful commercial facilities. Being in Chiba, central Tokyo is a bit far. Through service on the Sobu and Shinjuku lines gives good access, and with reasonable rents there is high demand from office workers.
