Living in Shin-Sapporo

The sub-center of Atsubetsu Ward, where the eastern terminus of the subway meets JR. Large commercial facilities connected to the station are concentrated here, and the rapid train to New Chitose Airport also stops, so it has airport access too. Satisfaction among family residents is high enough that it ranked first in the Truly Livable Town Awards 2021 in Hokkaido, and rents are low relative to access to the city center.

This is a sub-center in the east, where JR meets the subway Tozai Line. Large commercial facilities, a transportation hub and tidy housing developments make it popular for family living, and access to the city center is good. It is on the outskirts, some distance from the city center.
