Living in Tsujido

A neighborhood at the western edge of Fujisawa City where residential areas stretching toward the sea and a new commercial district north of the station sit together. Trains that run to Yokohama and Tokyo Station without transferring stop here, and shopping and hospitals are handled in front of the station. In return, the commute to central Tokyo is long, and the fastest Rapid trains do not stop.

On the JR Tokaido Line you can reach Yokohama in 25 minutes and Tokyo Station in 56 minutes without transferring. A large shopping mall directly connected to the north exit of the station makes grocery shopping easy. Shonan-Shinjuku Line Special Rapid trains do not stop, and it takes around an hour to Shibuya and Shinjuku.
