Living in Shin-Urayasu

A new town on reclaimed land in Urayasu with striking underground power lines and wide roads planted with palm trees. Beyond the resort-like scenery typical of a planned city, a large shopping mall in front of the station gives it excellent daily-life infrastructure. However, you should keep in mind that the Keiyo Line runs on a coastal elevated track, so delays and suspensions in strong winds are frequent, and rents are among the expensive in Chiba Prefecture.

You should keep in mind that, as reclaimed land, it saw liquefaction in a past earthquake and that the only line is the Keiyo Line. Direct service to Tokyo Station, proximity to Disney Resort and comfortable daily-life infrastructure are its strengths.
