Good valueCommute & transport

A city in central Nara about 30 minutes to central Osaka by express, where the street in front of an old temple remains. For an Osaka commuter zone, rents are much lower, so it is a practical choice for people who want to cut housing costs.

A city in central Nara Prefecture, about 30 minutes to Osaka-Uehommachi Station by Kintetsu Osaka Line express. The old temple-town streets that formed around Senryuji Temple (commonly called Takada Gobo), founded in 1600, remain. The Takada Senbonzakura cherry blossom path, planted by citizens along the Kodagawa embankment to commemorate the town's elevation to city status in 1948, is a spring attraction, and traces of the hosiery and textile industries that date from the Meiji era remain here and there, but you can hardly expect the lively entertainment-district energy of central Osaka. It suits single-person households and office workers who commute to Osaka and want a quiet small regional city with old alleys and a cherry blossom path.
