A village with no railway station, where a car is essential for commuting to Nagoya. Natural resources are its strength, with a cherry blossom valley and a mountain with great views.

A village in Ibi District, Gifu Prefecture, with no railway station, so a car is essential to commute to Nagoya. It has Kamagatani Valley, famous as a cherry blossom spot, and Mt. Ikeda, known for its night view and sky sports, and also the Nakahachiman burial mound, whose excavated horse gear is rated among the oldest in Japan and is designated a prefectural Important Cultural Property. It is not a place with a well-developed entertainment area or nightlife like central Nagoya, so daily convenience can be somewhat inconvenient. It is a neighborhood that suits single-person households and retirees who want to live quietly, enjoying nature and hot springs (Ikeda Onsen) by car.
